Men’s Intimacy, Sexuality & Vulnerability Group
Many gay men experience difficulties with emotional intimacy. Whether partnered, single, in a new relationship, inexperienced, or connecting with many different partners, many men have difficulty expressing their feelings and experience an uneasiness in feeling vulnerable. For some men, sex is seen as the sole means toward experiencing intimacy.

Difficulties with intimacy can make connecting with partners, family and friends more of a challenge. More specifically, men can find their relationships superficial and shallow, or worry about finding a quality partner. Many men keep repeating the same relationship patterns/mistakes over and over again.

To help men with these difficulties, a Men’s Intimacy, Sexuality & Vulnerability Group is being formed. The group will help each participant to learn about their attachment style and to develop the skills to identify and to communicate needs. Participants will give and receive feedback and gain the confidence needed to create deeper connections with others.

Meeting Time – Mondays from 7 pm– 8:30 pm
Location – 852 Kinderkamack Road, Second Floor, River Edge, New Jersey 07661
Cost – $75/session

Preregistration is required. Please call 201-885-3522 for additional information .

Meditation For Seniors
Many seniors find that meditation is a powerful stress reliever. It helps in cultivating presence, awareness and non-judgement. Seniors who practice mindfulness or meditation find that they can face life challenges with grace and improve their sense of resilency. Meditation also helps seniors face what is happening in their life when it seems out of their control. With less worry, meditation can help us to focus on the present and reduce rumination about the past or being preoccupied with the future.

Research has shown that mediation can enhance short and long term memory and even slow down the progression of age related cognitive decline. The practice of meditation can also help your brain to improve focus, creativity and mood.

Connect with other older adults in a safe and supportive group lead by a certified meditation professional. Learn breath techniques for mental clarity, respiratory health and calming relief combined with gentle chair yoga that aid towards better body posture and realignment.

Meeting Time – Mondays from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Location – 852 Kinderkamack Road, Second Floor, River Edge, New Jersey 07661
Cost – $40/session
